There was no article on me. But then I'm not an obscure subject.
There was no article on my grandfather Colonel Thomas Gay. I think that there is a place for him in Wikipedia since there are articles on Colonel Eamon Broy and David Neligan both of whom played key roles in the Irish republican movement led by Michael Collins. My Grandfather had an equally important role in this part of history and a little of this has been documented in books about Michael Collins. I would like to write such an article but i need some scholarly support. I have writen to a professor who is an expert in this area for some guidence.
